I drive my daughter to school every day before going to work. It’s usually chaotic and crazy trying to get us both out of the house on time, but I wouldn’t trade the one-on-one conversations we have for anything. When we left today she was in major drama/meltdown mode over a sock and shoe crisis. Long story. But once we hit the road we prayed for God to turn her day around. We talked and joked all the way to school and by the time we got there her mood had totally changed.
God,
Thank You for this precious one-on-one time every day. I know some day I’ll look back on it as some of the best moments of my life.
Thanks,
Jason
Im thankful for a daughter’s heart, open to examination that lead to reconciliation with a dear friend.
Drive times are very special for us as well. I am so thankful for those conversations, prayer times, and teaching moments.
